Interpretation Center in the Black Forest

The Center blends with the ground to minimize the building's facade and benefit from the south orientation while protecting itself from the north. This is the reason for the concept of green roofs. The new planning, along with the building´s terraces and southern tree areas, creates a path for walking that includes exhibits, lookouts, and other activities. A passive solar chimney system allows natural lighting in the interior of the building, while also functioning as a solar energy collector in winter and providing natural ventilation during summer. - Black Forest National Park, Germany-
